About The Position
ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment. In this role, an adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you. You will provide them with daily care and support.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and good driving record
- Clean background checks
- Home that meets safety requirements (home assessment required)
- Home or renter's insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
- Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
- Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
- Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff
Benefits
- Tax-free annual stipend: $40,000 - $60,000
