About The Position
ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment. In this role, an adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you, and you will provide them with daily care and support. You will encourage independence through skill development and guidance, schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities, and keep simple daily records while communicating with ViaQuest staff.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and good driving record
- Clean background checks
- Home that meets safety requirements (home assessment required)
- Home or renter's insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
- Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
- Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
- Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff
Benefits
- Tax-free annual stipend: $40,000 - $60,000
