Sexual & Reproductive Health Training Specialist
About The Position
AlphaGov is engaging a Sexual & Reproductive Health Training Specialist for current state public health work. A state department of public health needs a training program for its comprehensive sexual and reproductive health program. The specialist will design and deliver training for clinical and community providers, develop curricula and e-learning, build provider capacity on relevant standards, and track and report participation and outcomes. AlphaGov engages experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. Scope, schedule, and fee are confirmed before any engagement begins. With the specialist’s authorization, AlphaGov may name them as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals matching their expertise, and may ask them to contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in sexual and reproductive health program training or technical assistance.
- Adult learning and curriculum design experience.
- Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
Nice To Haves
- Title X training-center experience.
- MPH or clinical credential.
- Health equity and trauma-informed practice expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training for clinical and community providers on sexual and reproductive health.
- Develop curricula, e-learning, and evaluation tools.
- Build provider capacity on Title X/family planning, STI, and adolescent health standards.
- Track participation and outcomes and report to the agency.
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named.
