This position provides overall supervision and management for the Sexual Health Clinic (SHC) Program, which includes a Clinic team, an Outreach team, and Advanced Nurse Practitioner(s). Plan, direct, and evaluate staff in SHC while overseeing and directing program team lead positions who plan and direct staff in the Clinic and Outreach teams. Work with department supervisors and SHC staff, the State of Alaska, grantors and community agencies in assessing community needs to provide programs/projects related to sexual health and reproductive health. Assist with preparation and management of Federal and State grants, which fund SHC, Health Information Management (HIM), and the Disease Prevention and Control (DPC) Program. Ensure that all SHC teams and staff adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and statutes pertaining to fiscal responsibilities, clinic services, standards of care, staff position duties, and grant specifications. Ensures that SHC staff provide outreach and education at community partner locations such as medical facilities, media sites, academic institutions, and correctional facilities. Provides oversight and mentoring of registered nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel for clinical assessment and management of clients seeking services related to disease/infection prevention, treatment, family planning, and epidemiological investigations related to sexual and reproductive health. Perform other duties as assigned.
