About The Position

Arc Herkimer wants you to assist with our sewing needs. You would operate multiple types of sewing machines depending on the type of contracts we are working with. You will have the chance to see consumer goods through production, while making an impact on the work we do.

Requirements

• 18+ years old is required.
• Two years of experience operating manufacturing machines or two years' experience with machines such as single needle, double needle, overlock, bar tacker, lock stitch, hemmer and embroiderer.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer experience on industrial style machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of sewing machines depending on the type of contracts we are working with.
• Produce and maintain high level of quality output to meet customer demands.
• Change needle, thread, and replace bobbin on machines and perform general machine maintenance.
• Report any problems, unsafe conditions and pertinent information to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
