About The Position

Schumacher & Co. is seeking an enthusiastic Surger to assist with surging memos in the distribution center. This is a full-time, first-shift position (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with guaranteed 40 hours and potential for overtime. The hourly rate is $17, and a sign-on bonus may be available. Benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K are available after 90 days of employment. Paid time off and paid holidays are also provided. The role requires the ability to sew cleanly and neatly, follow instructions, measure accurately, and work well with a team. The candidate must be comfortable being on their feet and willing to perform other jobs as needed. The position is located in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Requirements

Experienced in industrial sewing (preferably with close control expertise).
Experienced examining products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Ability to sew cleanly and neatly.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to measure accurately in inches down to 1/32”.
Able to work well with a team.
Willing to perform other jobs.
Able to access the facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Comfortable being on your feet.
Impeccable organizational skills.
Have a no project is to big mindset.
Work well with a team.
Always on time for work and have good attendance.
