Issuing work to sewers as needed to keep up with production schedule.

Requirements

  • Must have furniture experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic Computer Skills PC and AS400 knowledge helpful
  • Able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Able to work with different types of personalities and different levels of management.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Detailed oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking orders in sewing to meet the department on time performance.
  • Making sure all Rush pieces, S-List as well as LTL loads get out as scheduled.
  • Work is handed out and matched up by the date and load and taken to the next department
  • Follow up on orders held in production.
  • Assist Sewing Lead and Sewing Manager about orders in the department.
  • Working off of reports: Back Log, Market Samples, Repairs, Work in Progress to insure the output of product.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
