Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
Attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting materials.
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, patterns, or templates.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines and hand tools to assemble fabric components, ensuring precision and quality in accordance with provided patterns and specifications.
Seam and join fabric pieces, adding necessary reinforcements, zippers, or other components as required for the final product.
Inspect finished products for defects or irregularities, addressing and rectifying any issues to meet quality standards.
Work closely with team members, including fabric cutters and assemblers, to ensure seamless coordination in the production process.
Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety guidelines, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency in the sewing department.
Organize and manage materials efficiently, minimizing waste and ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any relevant data for reporting purposes.
