About The Position
The Sewer Lateral Installer will install and repair sewer laterals and related piping. This is a traveling position based out of Mobile, Alabama, with projects throughout the Southeast. The role involves hands-on outdoor work at different job sites, including excavation and pipe installation, and requires working safely around trenches, equipment, utilities, and traffic.
Requirements
- Prior sewer lateral installation experience.
- Familiarity with pipe materials, fittings, grades, and installation practices.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varied weather.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Mobile-area base.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work well with a crew.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair sewer laterals and related piping.
- Excavate, bed, lay, connect, and backfill pipe.
- Read plans and follow project specifications.
- Work safely around trenches, equipment, utilities, and traffic.
- Operate or work alongside excavation and installation equipment.
- Keep job sites organized and communicate with the crew.
