Requirements

Qualified applicants will ideally possess a minimum of 1 year of Sewer/Excavation work or residential service plumbing work experience
Working knowledge of the care and use of standard hand tools used in the construction and maintenance of water and sewer installations
Applicant must have previous plumbing experience and be able to work in outdoor weather conditions
Ability to follow directions well, and demonstrate a sound work ethic
Honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in dealing with customers; some cash handling
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to be considered
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Interest in learning the plumbing trade
Willingness to follow instructions and assist experienced plumbers
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Assist the plumber and excavation operator onsite and excavation
Cut and assemble pipe fittings
Assist in backfill and clean up after sewer is reassembled
Adhere to all safety policies and protocol
Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions for prolonged periods of time and work while in kneeling, sitting, or prone positions depending upon assignment
Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions, work with others, and deal with customers in a courteous manner
