Setup Technician/Delivery Driver
About The Position
UBEO Business Services, a provider of business technology products and services, is seeking a Setup Technician / Delivery Driver. UBEO distributes and services document equipment and software solutions, including multi-functional equipment from Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, and Konica Minolta, as well as Kyocera printers, and specializes in electronic document management software and integrations. This technical role involves the assembly and preparation of equipment, as well as the delivery and removal of office equipment for clients. The position is critical for client relations, requiring efficient setup procedures and strict quality control. Responsibilities include proper handling, loading, and transporting of equipment, maintaining customer contact, and ensuring timely deliveries. Accurate and timely paperwork completion is essential, as is assisting with warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Will be required to take a post offer drug test
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Must be able to pull, lift, reach and transport equipment, parts and boxes
- Ability to Safely operate delivery truck
- Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods at times
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at times when operating truck for deliveries
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to stay out of town overnight

Responsibilities
- Follow established Setup Procedures specific to the product and manufacture.
- Maintain high level quality control in the equipment preparation process to ensure that all devices are functioning according to manufacture specifications.
- Update and maintain equipment firmware levels, service mode settings and user settings.
- Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free. Provide accurate documentation and activity reporting.
- Follow all established safety policies.
- Maintain clean and safe environment.
- Complete daily delivery and pick-up of office product equipment.
- Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive, and professional.
- Adhere to safe driving regulations
- Keep inventory neat, clean and organized in and out of the warehouse.
- Perform other activities that support UBEO BUSINESS SERVICES and our Sales/Service organization.
