About The Position

Restaurant Associates, an industry leader in dining and event catering for prestigious institutions, is seeking a part-time Setup Server. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution of all events during a shift, responding quickly to the needs of staff and customers. The position involves assembling and delivering food and supplies for catered functions, maintaining the catering facility and equipment, and adhering to safety and sanitation policies.

Requirements

• Previous serving experience is required.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
• The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
• The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains the catering facility and equipment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures the execution of all events during their shift.
• Quickly responds to the needs of staff and customers.
