Requirements

  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding all State and company sanitation requirements (ServSafe).
  • Adhering to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies.
  • Supporting safety and accident prevention programs (nonslip footwear, proper lifting).
  • Serving as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos.
  • Know or is able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients Possess and demonstrate a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and have the ability to follow instruction and direction.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Providing fast, friendly, professional service to racino guests, beverage servers and bartenders.
  • Resolve customer service issues as quickly and efficiently as possible while maintaining company policy.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Other duties, as needed.
  • High School diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces. Team Members must be drug free.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
  • Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
  • Responsible for complete set-up, stocking and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables
  • Removing dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and soiled linens from tables and countertops, transports to dish area.
  • Monitoring and replenishing of all stock items in assigned area in a neat, accurate and timely fashion.
  • Refilling water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread, and carrying order to tables, as needed.
  • Making coffee or tea, as needed.
  • Ensuring assigned work area is neat, clean and sanitized throughout shift by wiping tables, counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and sweeping and mopping floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
  • Partnering with culinary team and server to work as a team to ensure coordinated work flow during shift to meet business demands and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining all equipment in proper fashion (coffee machines, soda and juice dispensers, ice bins), service stations, and refrigerators.
  • Presenting oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.
  • Operating a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest the correct change; accounting for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedures; maintaining integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
