About The Position

Oak View Group is hiring an on-call, per-event Setup Crew staff member for room sets and arena conversions at the Greenville SC Convention Center. The role pays $17.00 per hour and is a part-time position. The posting will remain open until December 31, 2026. The employee sets up and tears down event equipment, supports facility conversions, and cleans and maintains assigned areas. Work may involve long hours, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in public facilities is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work safely and effectively.
Set up and tear down risers, staging, basketball floors, chairs, tables, pipe and drape, and other items needed for events.
Handle folding and stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery, and skirting.
Read and interpret paperwork regarding room setups.
Clean and maintain specific areas of the facility.
Support conversions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
