About The Position

Sets up and operates production machinery according to established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty. It involves commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under immediate supervision; primary duties typically do not require independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
