About The Position

This role focuses on creating a stress-free transition for residents by helping them settle into their new homes. The primary goal is to assist residents in unpacking and personalizing their living spaces, ensuring a comfortable and smooth move-in experience.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Sensitivity to the needs, interests, and abilities of residents with varying cognitive levels.
Dependability, punctuality, creativity, enthusiasm, affection, flexibility, and patience.

Responsibilities

Assist residents in unpacking their belongings, including dishes, clothing, and linens.
Communicate with residents regarding the placement of their items.
Offer suggestions for the placement of belongings and furniture when requested.
Clean and dust furniture as time permits.
Clean mirrors and glass as time permits.
Show residents their storage areas and parking spaces when asked and necessary.
Place work orders when needed.
Answer resident questions or direct them to the appropriate contact person.
Dispose of all boxes, paper, and trash at the end of the move.
Report resident total working hours on a worksheet for monthly billing.
Participate in additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, aligned with qualifications and reasonably expected to be completed with minimal orientation.
