About The Position
Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting production goals for customer orders by accurately selecting and weighing ingredients for blending. This position is for 2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of forklift and load move system.
Responsibilities
- Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.
- Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.
- Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
- Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousing
- Must be able lift up to 75 pounds continuously
- Must drive forklift
- Must maintain integrity of raw materials
- Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
- Must follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
- Must follow all Safety Rules
- Cooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment
