Set Up Technician
About The Position
Burlington Coat Factory is transitioning to a weekly hybrid scheduled for October 2026 and needs entry level IT contractors to support the return to office technology rollout. Contractors will fulfill technology setup requests at workstations across Burlington's corporate office on a by-request basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone just starting their IT career to get their foot in the door at a large enterprise organization with real potential for extension and growth. Strong performers may be extended into Burlington's upcoming endpoint refresh project, turning a 2-month engagement into approximately 6 months.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hardware setup — monitors, docking stations, peripherals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable being on feet for extended periods and moving equipment throughout the office
- Ability to work on site five days per week
- High school diploma or GED
