About The Position

The Set Up Attendant is responsible for performing all show set up activities, including cleaning and assembling stands, displays, and mobile equipment. This role involves retrieving and storing equipment, coordinating with supervisors on set up activities, monitoring set up accuracy, and investigating and correcting discrepancies or damages. The attendant will stage tables, chairs, and shelving as directed, communicate clearly between departments, and inform management of any equipment shortages or damages. Maintaining clean and organized areas and ensuring client and guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role requires employing good safety and sanitation practices, reporting injuries or unsafe conditions, contacting Public Safety in emergencies, adhering to company policies, and following responsible alcohol service policies. Teamwork and a positive attitude are also important, with an expectation to assist others when needed.

Requirements

  • Walks and stands throughout entire shift.
  • Lifts and transports items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushes and pulls carts, racks, and product weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Reads, speaks, writes and comprehends English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all show set up activities including cleaning and assembling stands, displays, and mobile equipment.
  • Retrieve and store equipment in designated areas when not in use.
  • Coordinate with supervisor on all set up activities and performance.
  • Monitor locations’ requested set up to ensure accuracy; investigate and correct set up discrepancies or damages immediately and report back to Supervisor.
  • Stage tables, chairs, and shelving as directed.
  • Communicate clearly between departments to ensure all needs are met.
  • Inform management immediately of any shorts or damaged equipment.
  • Keep all areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Maintain client and guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices to prevent hazards.
  • Report injuries, unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to management.
  • Contact Public Safety in the event of emergencies.
  • Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and property rules.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Thoroughly complete all responsibilities and assignments.
  • Display a positive attitude.
  • Assist others when necessary and/or requested.
