About The Position

Temp Set-Up Personnel are responsible for the movement of mold tooling and auxiliary equipment to and from the molding presses and to set up the mold in the presses. Shifts Available: Monday - Friday 1st 7am-3:30pm (20.00) 2nd: 3pm -11:30pm (20.50) 3rd :11pm-7:30am (21.00)

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in Injection molding.
Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to fabricate components as needed for production adjustments.
Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to ensure product quality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
Able to climb ladders.
Sit- down Forklift Operator.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Move mold tooling and auxiliary equipment to the molding machines and perform the set-ups.
Install change-over when jobs are complete.
Troubleshoot equipment, process, and mold tooling.
Perform mold tooling inventory control.
Maintenance and repair of equipment while assuring all safety features are in place and functioning properly.
General shop maintenance, cleaning and organization.
Complete required documentation and review documentation for job and correct machine.
Complete documentation for any maintenance/safety concerns.
Assist with material handling and quality control as needed.
Perform certain duties and responsibilities of the Foreman in the Foreman’s absence or as requested.
