About The Position
The Utah State Capitol hosts over 4,400 scheduled events annually, and is seeking an Event Set Up Assistant for functions for Capitol Hill Complex Events. If you are a hardworking person who is punctual, can function independently and pay close attention to detail, this could be the position for you!
Requirements
- Experience in a labor intensive field, such as maintenance or warehouse work.
- Punctual for shifts and for scheduled events.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Be able to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting and positioning of office furniture and event equipment, as well as the use of various tools.
- Have availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
