About The Position
Seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities for our Banquet Set Up Attendant positions to set up/tear down of tables & chairs for all group events such as holiday buffets, weddings, corporate events, family reunions, etc. in the ballroom, lounge and/or restaurant area. Places linen and skirting as required by the Banquet Event Order (BEO) along with setting up and troubleshooting Audio Visual equipment. May provide beverage/snacks to meeting rooms and assist with serving as needed. Work is intermittent and based on group bookings.
Requirements
- Must be 16 or older by start date
- Open availability will be given priority
- Weekends & holidays required
- Shifts may start as early as 5am for breakfast and as late as 12am for weddings/events
- May also require split shifts at times
- Must be able to repeatedly lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Set up/tear down of tables & chairs for all group events
- Place linen and skirting as required by the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Set up and troubleshoot Audio Visual equipment
- Provide beverage/snacks to meeting rooms
