Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Program Management, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in chassis, suspension, or wheel guidance within an OEM or Tier‑1 supplier.
  • Proven experience in developing components from concept through production release.
  • Prior program management experience.
  • Experience with supplier management, design reviews, PPAP processes, and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Passport required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional discussions and alignment between production, quality, sales, marketing, purchasing, finance, product management, CAE, other R&D teams, and cross-system engineering partners from an engineering perspective.
  • Address topics related to chassis (suspension/wheels), braking, and steering.
  • Triage issues and prioritize them appropriately.
  • Formally present DRE (Design Release Engineer) topics to cross-functional teams and upper management.
  • Lead engineering efforts from a program management perspective, organizing cross-functional teams and engineering resources as needed.
  • Review budget with engineers, ensuring completeness and proper documentation/alignment of forecasts.
  • Identify timing issues and escalate them to the next level of management.
  • Facilitate decision-making by organizing cross-functional input when multiple directions or scenarios exist.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Track progress and potential risks based on input from the engineering team.
