About The Position

The Chassis Driver position is responsible for operating any combination of chassis related to the company’s various product lines and dedicated to the best safety practices.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.
Professional behavior in a team setting.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram format.
Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to changes in work tasks, processes, or priorities.

Responsibilities

Operate and safely drive chassis units between locations.
Prepare units for transport with necessary chassis and body modifications.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Comply with all traffic laws and adjust driving based on road and weather conditions.
Work within safety guidelines to ensure safe and efficient transfer of vehicles.
Notify supervisor of any maintenance or delivery-related issues.
Adhere to company rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Train other associates when needed.
Any other jobs/duties given by supervisor/manager.
