About The Position
The Set Designer works collaboratively with the director to create a cohesive set design for the show. This role involves completing renderings for the director and creative team, creating build plans for set construction, and coordinating with the props and lighting designers to ensure all elements are procured and executed successfully. The Set Designer also attends production meetings and remains available to the creative team and builder/TD to ensure the successful realization of the set design.

Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with director to create a cohesive set design for the show
- Completes renderings for the director and creative team
- Creates build plans as needed for the construction of the set
- Works with props designer to ensure furniture and set dressings are procured and executed
- Works with lighting designer on any practicals used on the set
- Attends production meetings
- Makes themselves available to creative team and builder/td to ensure successful realization of set design
