About The Position

This course examines the link between people and places from a global perspective. The course will cover topics related to population patterns and processes, geographic theories related to population and sustainability, as well as the tools used by geographers to study population size, composition and migration. [24L]

Requirements

  • PhD or PhD candidate in Human Geography
  • Previous experience teaching a similar course
  • Evidence of teaching excellence in the subject covered in the course

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of course content
  • Development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams
  • Calculation and submission of grades
  • Holding regular office hours
  • Supervising TAs assigned to course
  • Order all necessary readings
