About The Position

This course's central focus is an examination of the way race and gender operate together in structuring social inequality. It offers the analytical tools for exploring the interconnections between race and gender, along with other systems of domination, and incorporates perspectives from women of colour and from women in the global "South."

Requirements

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Gender, Feminist and/or Sexuality Studies or a closely related discipline
  • Mastery/competency in the subject area, as related to the course description

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. degree in Gender, Feminist or Sexuality Studies
  • Experience teaching a similar course

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of course content
  • Development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams
  • Dealing with student inquires
  • Calculation and submission of grades
  • Holding regular office hours
  • Supervising TAs (if any) assigned to the course
