This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach PHL295H1F Business Ethics. The course explores philosophical issues in ethics, social theory, and theories of human nature as they relate to contemporary business practices. Topics include the moral responsibilities of businesses, the calculation of social costs and benefits, the influence of modern business life on human nature, and the role of political ideas and institutions within business. The estimated course enrollment is 200 students, with an estimated 230 hours of TA support. Classes are scheduled for Fridays from 09:00 to 12:00. The sessional dates of appointment are from September 1st, 2026, to December 31st, 2026.
