About The Position

The Department of Economics, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach Introductory Microeconomics (ECON 111.3) during Term One of the 2026-2027 Regular Session and Introductory Macroeconomics (ECON 114.3) during Term Two of the 2026-2027 Regular Session. Both courses will be offered on-campus as face-to-face lectures in Prince Albert, SK, with specific Wednesday evening schedules. The appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in economics.
  • Teaching experience in economics.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ECON 111.3 (Introductory Microeconomics) during Term One (September 2, 2026 – December 7, 2026).
  • Teach ECON 114.3 (Introductory Macroeconomics) during Term Two (January 6, 2027 – April 8, 2027).
  • Deliver courses on-campus as face-to-face lectures.
  • Prepare for and mark course materials.
