About The Position

Oasis Financial is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Servicing Associate to join our growing team. This role involves extensive client communication, both via phone and email, and requires a strong ability to manage, update, and summarize large sets of data using Excel. This role primarily supports the organization through high-volume administrative and operational tasks. The Servicing Associate will assist in maintaining accurate account records, processing requests from attorneys and plaintiffs, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of documentation and payments. This role seeks an individual that is flexible and reliant, helping improve the speed, efficiency, and overall quality of service provided to our attorneys and plaintiffs. As you grow into the role, there will be opportunities to lead teams and influence business strategies, making this an ideal position for someone who has a strong desire to grow into a leadership position.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of work experience related to office type environment, contact center environment preferred.
  • Ability to multitask from application to application while on the phone and the computer is a must.
  • Able to adapt to change and pivot easily between tasks and process changes.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle interactions with attorneys and medical providers.
  • Ability to operate efficiently and effectively within a continuous evolving environment.
  • Basic to advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Rosemont, IL office.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with law firms, in account management, customer service or collections preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with personal injury, medical billing, custodian of records a plus.
  • Self-motivated with desire to build great relationships, and able to meet and exceed goals.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with clients and internal teams via phone and email to resolve queries, provide updates.
  • Obtain updates from clients regularly and manage outreach via e-mail, phone, and internal channels regarding these updates.
  • Processing incoming requests from attorneys and plaintiffs, including documentation and information requests.
  • Prepare and send payoff statements, including payment instructions.
  • Ensure accounts are updated with the correct and required documentation.
  • Perform data handling and administrative tasks to support operational workflows.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in different functions or areas as business needs evolve.
  • Work closely with department managers and business development teams nationwide to ensure smooth communication, resolve issues, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, and job aids to streamline workflows and ensure consistent execution.
  • Build strong working relationships with attorney offices, business development teams, and clients, ensuring a customer-focused approach and promoting positive interactions.
  • Manage multiple phone queues, both inbound and outbound.
