About The Position

Join Booz Allen’s team as a Direct Buyer of Services. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, corporate guidelines, federal regulations, and contractual requirements. Manage the full procurement process for subcontracts, including issuing and evaluating requests for proposals, negotiating terms, conducting price analysis, issuing contracts, and managing contract closeouts. Regularly review supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms, deliverables, and program requirements. Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor subcontractor performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and added value in procurement.

Requirements

2+ years of experience with procurement or direct purchasing in defense contracting.
Experience evaluating labor or services procurement requirements for DoD government contracts, including FAR and DFARS flow-downs, special requirements, and performance work statements.
Experience establishing CPSR-compliant procurement files greater than $250,000, including small business subcontracting plans, cost accounting standards, and the Truth in Negotiation Act.
Experience evaluating and negotiating terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk based on purchase order award type, commodity, and anticipated award value.
Experience evaluating statements of work and rate submissions.
Experience evaluating source justifications for compliance with the procurement award type.
Experience conducting price analysis for competitive and non-competitive procurements.
Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities
