About The Position

The Services Coordinator is a key on-site team member responsible for supporting residents in achieving stability, wellbeing, and personal goals. This role builds trusting relationships with residents, connects them to internal and external resources, and facilitates programs that strengthen community engagement and support. The Services Coordinator is the primary point of contact for residents seeking assistance and plays a central role in identifying needs, coordinating resource referrals, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment to help meet their needs. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, cultural humility, and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, property operations, and community partners.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in supportive services, case management, community development, or related fields
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing trauma, homelessness, or systemic barriers.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, and drive performance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee site-based programming, including monthly food access programs and site-specific events.
  • Prioritize weekly resident retention support opportunities including resource referrals for budgeting, employment, education, benefits, and rental assistance.
  • Supervise volunteers, instructors, and program partners onsite as needed.
  • Support residents in maintaining housing, accessing benefits resources, and navigating systems while balancing community safety and standards.
  • Maintain relationships with local service providers, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate partner schedules, space usage, and communication for on-site programming.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities to expand available resources for residents.
  • Uphold administrative deadlines in Apricot, including: Weekly documentation of Case Notes, Services Provided, compliance demands, and payment plans. Tracking program participation, outcomes, and resident needs to support reporting and evaluation. Monthly documentation of monetary demands and follow-ups. Monthly data entry of resident move-ins and -outs.
  • Uphold administrative deadlines in ResMan, including: Monthly Budget Variance reports to Accounting within 24 hours of receipt. Monthly Delinquency notes by site.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including expense reports, budget tracking, and budget adherence.
  • Conduct crisis and risk assessments, coordinating with property operations and managers to ensure safety and appropriate intervention.
  • Track grant reporting, audits, and compliance requirements in partnership with the Strategy Manager.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to approved schedule and time entry requirements for time tracking.
  • Maintain consistent documentation of daily and weekly schedules via Google Calendar.
  • Create monthly resident calendars in Canva and distribute across properties.
  • Support peer Services Coordinators at other locations as needed for coverage and event support.
  • Communicate regularly with the Regional Services Manager regarding trends, needs, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Property Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Management to support stable, safe, and supportive communities.
  • Participate in cross-functional weekly team meetings to address resident needs, coordinate services, and support community wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with Development and Communications teams to support storytelling, fundraising, and donor engagement related to resident services.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support team objectives and organizational needs.
