Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is currently looking for a Services Controller, North America for its Ste-Claire plant. As the Services Controller, you have the overall responsibility of supporting the business and the Director for our entire services network. You work closely with the organization and make sure to respect the financial rules.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finances, accounting or business.
  • Relevant experience and training combination
  • English speaking & writing Fluency.
  • Strong Excel skills, graphic, Power point
  • Innovative problem solving and strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, Passionate, Curious, Customer oriented, Change driven, Problem solver, owner mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA and/or other professional certification in finance an asset.
  • French speaking & writing an asset.
  • Experience with software packages such as SAP, Hyperion, Essbase desirable.
  • Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly financial closing & reporting process, including reviewing and analyzing reported figures, control reports and investigating and resolving issues.
  • Ensure timeless and quality of reporting per branch.
  • Developing and follow exiting KPI.
  • Investigating significant variances from prior period actual results
  • Implementing corrective activities as needed.
  • Assist in development and implementation of new analysis tool.
  • Support business - financial acumen
  • Promote and enhance sharing of best practices with the entire network.
  • Hands on in the day-to-day business.
  • Develop the annual budget and various estimates for Services
  • Collaborates with region controller.
