About The Position

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Programme is seeking a Contract Manager to join our Services Contracts team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). In this role, you will monitor the validity and expiration of credits and allocations in accordance with contractual clauses. You will also be responsible for invoicing A220 services provided by Airbus Canada (training, upgrades, etc.) and securing payments from our customers. You will be the focal point of the post-delivery contractual relationship, acting as the guardian of validity rights and billing accuracy. Your goal: transform our contractual obligations into customer satisfaction while ensuring our revenue targets are met. As part of the Services Contracts team, you will join a department responsible for negotiating A220 support packages during aircraft sales, contract management, and aircraft warranty. Our team is organized to promote cross-functional collaboration and autonomy, where we support one another and learn collectively.

Requirements

  • Relevant education/experience in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field (5 years of experience).
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts to monitor contractual rights and obligations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (essential).
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Rigor, organization, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills, initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface for internal stakeholders and A220 customers (operators, MROs, third parties) regarding the management of signed service sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain a commercial relationship based on trust by actively listening to and clarifying customer needs, requirements, and concerns.
  • Propose solutions that protect the interests of Airbus.
  • Monitor customer allocations granted through service contracts and/or the A220 Purchase Agreement support package.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of these allocations with the customer and manage credit notes made available to A220 clients.
  • Implement and monitor billing and payment procedures.
  • Ensure payments are received within agreed timelines.
  • Identify and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Implement recovery strategies tailored to different customer profiles and debt seniority.
  • Lead the resolution of commercial disputes blocking payments and ensure proactive management of working capital (Cash-in).
  • Negotiate payment plans and schedules; document all recovery actions and customer communications.
  • Update tracking information in the system; identify doubtful accounts and propose appropriate solutions (formal notices, litigation, etc.).
  • Progressively reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Contribute to departmental continuous improvement projects, particularly in coordination with Airbus SAS.
