About The Position

We are seeking a ServiceNow Visualization & Configuration Management Analyst to support mission-focused operations at Scott Air Force Base, IL. This role will focus on building advanced ServiceNow visualizations, supporting configuration management activities, improving CMDB data integrity, and helping the team use ServiceNow more effectively for operational insight and decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ServiceNow experience, advanced data visualization skills, a solid understanding of CMDB structures, and the ability to investigate data issues across configuration items, circuits, equipment, and telecom-related data modules.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Security+ CE certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• 4–8 years of relevant IT, ServiceNow, configuration management, or data visualization experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience creating complex data visualizations in ServiceNow.
• Ability to demonstrate experience building ServiceNow dashboards, reports, or visualizations from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM processes and CMDB data model.
• Experience navigating ServiceNow tables, records, relationships, and data structures.
• Strong foundation in configuration management principles and practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into functional dashboards, reports, and visual outputs.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite at Scott AFB, IL.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ServiceNow telecommunications modules, including TSOM and TNI.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Platform Analytics, or related ServiceNow certification.
• ITIL certification or related technical certification.
• Practical understanding of the OSI model.
• Understanding of how network circuits, telecom services, physical equipment, and configuration items are interrelated.
• Experience supporting CMDB cleanup, CI audits, data validation, or ServiceNow reporting improvements.
• Experience working in DoD, DISA, DISN, or mission-critical network operations environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deliver, and maintain complex data visualizations within ServiceNow.
• Translate team requirements into actionable dashboards, reports, and visual insights.
• Serve as the team SME for ServiceNow visualization strategies and best practices.
• Support core configuration management functions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Analyze change requests, conduct CI audits, and maintain accurate relationships between circuits, services, and equipment.
• Investigate and resolve CMDB data integrity issues.
• Support data validation within ServiceNow telecom modules, including TSOM/TNI.
• Navigate ServiceNow tables, data structures, and CMDB relationships to identify and resolve platform/data issues.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to improve reporting, visibility, and data quality.
• Provide informal mentorship and guidance to team members on ServiceNow visualization capabilities and best practices.
