ServiceNow Platform Developer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to build and maintain solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications. The role focuses on hands-on configuration and development, including workflows, Flow Designer, scripting, integrations, UI customization, and platform extensions. The developer will apply best practices to keep the platform clean, upgrade-safe, and performant. The ideal candidate has delivered meaningful ServiceNow work in production, balances declarative and programmatic approaches thoughtfully, and writes maintainable code designed to withstand upgrades and team turnover. This is a full-time, direct W2 position that is 100% remote within the United States. The listed annual salary range is $125,000–$140,000. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong JavaScript skills, including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
- Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies.
- Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts.
- Experience with Service Portal widget development.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice To Haves
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist credentials in ITSM, HR, CSM, or ITOM.
- Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller.
- Familiarity with App Engine Studio.
- Exposure to multi-instance ServiceNow environments.
