About The Position

This is a 1099 contract engagement for the State of Michigan, staffed through Stafford Gray. The client requires a senior ServiceNow resource to be responsible for platform-level architecture decisions, going beyond just module configuration. The role involves owning the platform architecture, including the data model, integrations, security, and scalability. The architect will guide implementation across various modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and SPM, setting platform standards. Key responsibilities include leading technical design reviews and governance, overseeing integrations with other state systems using REST/SOAP, MID server, and SSO/LDAP, and mentoring technical consultants and developers on the platform team. The role also requires translating business requirements into scalable and supportable architecture.

Requirements

• Significant ServiceNow experience at an architecture level, not just configuration
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Experience across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM)
• Integration experience: REST/SOAP, SSO/LDAP, MID server

Nice To Haves

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
• State or local government client experience
• CTA credential
