About The Position

ZipStaff is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Lead to design and guide enterprise ITOM delivery for a global technology services firm. This is a hands-on technical lead role in a multi-tier production ServiceNow environment. You will own CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping architecture, review implementation and customization end-to-end, and give developers clear technical direction. Platform admins or ITSM-only consultants without deep ITOM will not be a fit.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of ServiceNow experience in an enterprise, multi-tier production environment.
• 10+ years in IT overall.
• Hands-on implementation of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Strong Glide API experience (GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideDialogWindow).
• Proven ability to design ITOM solutions and review developer work.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (or Administration certification).
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification in Discovery and/or Service Mapping.
• Ability to work on-site in Spokane, WA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow ITOM Cloud Insights, ITOM Governance, ConnectedOps, Cloud Observability.
• Prior lead experience on multi-workstream ITOM programs.
• Additional ServiceNow ITOM / CIS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ITOM implementation and customization on ServiceNow.
• Implement and govern CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Work with client/server APIs: GlideRecord, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideDialogWindow , and related APIs.
• Validate requirements, flag gaps, and confirm solutions are accurate and feasible.
• Provide domain architecture and technical best practices.
• Participate in requirements sessions and translate outcomes into developer guidance.
• Review ITOM build quality, customization, and production readiness.
• Support ITOM capabilities including Cloud Insights, ITOM Governance, ConnectedOps, and Cloud Observability.
