About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB Technical Consultant in United States.
In this role, you will deliver high-impact ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB solutions for complex enterprise environments. You will work hands-on with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to model infrastructure accurately and enable reliable operations. Partnering closely with client stakeholders, you will assess current-state tools and processes, design future-state architectures, and lead implementations end to end. The position combines deep technical delivery with advisory responsibilities, including mentoring team members and ensuring solution quality. You will operate in a consulting environment that values rigor, collaboration, and continuous learning. This role is ideal for a ServiceNow expert who thrives on solving complex reliability and visibility challenges at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 plus years of hands-on ServiceNow experience with a strong focus on ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, event management, monitoring, and integrations.
• Experience delivering at least three full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations.
• 5 plus years implementing ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB processes and solutions, with strong consulting or professional services background.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud architectures, standardization, and large enterprise deployments.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure architectures, including networking, compute, containers, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow JavaScript development, data modeling, and technical documentation.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications in Discovery, Data Foundations, or system administration are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB solutions across full lifecycle engagements.
• Model network, storage, compute, cloud, and application infrastructure within the CMDB to support accurate monitoring and service visibility.
• Assess current-state processes and tools, define requirements, and produce solution architectures, integration designs, and implementation plans.
• Lead or oversee development activities, including JavaScript, Glide queries, and integrations, ensuring performance and data quality.
• Guide clients on ITSM and ITIL-aligned practices as they relate to ITOM, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Mentor team members and provide technical oversight to ensure adherence to best practices and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document to-be processes and support tool evaluations and selection when needed.
