We are seeking an Expert Technical Systems Architect to lead enterprise CMDB strategy and architecture within a ServiceNow ITOM ecosystem. You’ll own configuration modeling, governance frameworks, and integration design across complex hybrid infrastructures. This is a high-impact architect role influencing platform direction, data quality, and operational maturity.
Requirements
- 8+ years in ITSM / platform / enterprise architecture.
- 5+ years focused on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Deep ServiceNow expertise.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.
- Masters's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent PLUS 10 Years of experience.
- Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.

- Architect-level certifications.
Responsibilities
- Define CMDB architecture, CI models, relationships, and ingestion patterns.
- Design reconciliation, normalization, and federation strategies.
- Lead CMDB governance, lifecycle policies, and health programs.
- Integrate data from monitoring, cloud, asset, and CI/CD systems.
- Build maturity roadmaps and phased implementation plans.
- Align CMDB design with ITSM/ITOM processes (Incident, Change, Asset, AIOps).
- Serve as CMDB subject matter expert to leadership and audit teams.
- Develop standards, playbooks, and training for enterprise adoption.
