About The Position

This role will require someone at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA, or Dallas, TX 5 days a week. CGI is looking for an experienced Service Now Developer to join our ET/S team, supporting our client which is a large US Bank, working in an advanced technology environment. Your future duties and responsibilities: o Develop and maintain custom applications, workflows, business rules, and UI policies on the ServiceNow platform. o Customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, and Incident/Problem/Change Management. o Design and implement automation and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and mid-server configurations. o Participate in requirements gathering and solution design with business analysts and stakeholders. o Implement and maintain client scripts, UI scripts, UI actions, and script includes. o Support platform upgrades, patching, and feature releases in coordination with the ServiceNow roadmap. o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks. o Create and maintain documentation related to configurations, customizations, and processes. o Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. o Support limited evening hours and weekend releases.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have an agile mindset and should have 5+ Yrs of good hands on as a ServiceNow Developer
  • Candidate should have strong hands on and understanding of business processes and workflows in Service Now application
  • Should be experienced with scripting languages such as JavaScript (mandatory).
  • Should have a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, database schema, and data model.
  • Should have familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Update Sets, and Application Scope.
  • Experienced in working with ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Should have hands on knowledge of ITIL framework.
  • Should have an understanding Service Now system integrations, data modeling and architecture
  • Should be up-to-date with ServiceNow releases, features, and roadmaps
  • Candidate should have strong communication, analytical skills, problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred knowledge in modules pertaining to Asset Management.
