About The Position

Atos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer to join the ITSM & ITAM Platform Engineering team. This role is crucial for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, focusing on automating business processes and delivering effective ITSM solutions to enhance efficiency across various business functions. The developer will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and design to development, testing, implementation, and documentation. They will also provide estimates for project phases, conduct code reviews, mentor other engineers, and consult with product owners to ensure successful requirement fulfillment. Participation in an agile scrum team using tools like Jira is expected.

Requirements

• 3+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and SecOps
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow configurations (business rules, UI polices, client scripts, ACLs), Flow Designer, application development
• Experience with integrations and API development (REST, JSON)
• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Conceptual architecture knowledge
• Machine Learning or Generative AI knowledge is a plus, not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform.
• Drive business process automation and deliver seamless ITSM solutions.
• Be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Provide estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
• Undertake regular code reviews to ensure alignment with development, implementation, and performance standards.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on design and coding techniques to engineers in the scrum team.
• Assist with updates to program specification/implementation documentation.
• Provide consultation to product owners with recommendations to drive their requirements to success.
• Participate as part of a scrum team applying agile principles and tools including Jira.
