About The Position

We are recruiting for a ServiceNow Developer SME to design and develop applications software and systems in the ServiceNow Platform. This individual will collaborate with teammates in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems. The ServiceNow Developer SME will determine computer user needs, analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls, design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Information Technology or Engineer Bachelor's or Master’s Degrees are preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module, Customer Service Management (CSM), Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, CMDB, and the Service Status Portal
  • Proven success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications
  • Database administration (Oracle or MYSQL) experience
  • Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements as part of an Agile Scrum
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both in a team and as an individual contributor
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Attitude and aptitude to work with a variety of new emerging technologies and tools as opportunities demand
  • Ability to deliver enhanced functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support within the schedule while preserving system integrity
  • High degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability
  • Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
  • Experience working in a team that uses Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps
  • Familiarity with how ServiceNow can support ZTA efforts
