ServiceNow Database Administrator Senior Consultant (TS SCI w/ Polygraph)

As a Project - Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the ServiceNow and Cloud Engineering team, you will be responsible for: Administer and optimize databases that support a self-hosted ServiceNow environment hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Perform database backup, recovery, patching, tuning, and maintenance activities to support performance, reliability, and availability Support ServiceNow upgrades, troubleshoot production issues, and resolve database-related incidents affecting platform operations Manage AWS database resources and implement controls that support security, compliance, and data integrity requirements Automate routine administration tasks, maintain technical documentation, and provide on-call support for critical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
- 3+ years of experience supporting self-hosted ServiceNow environments
- 3+ years of experience administering databases in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments
- 3+ years of experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning
- 3+ years of experience supporting platform upgrades, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- 3+ years of experience implementing database security controls, access management, and audit support
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
