About The Position
MTC is based in Frederick, Maryland and provides systems integration services to the U.S. Federal Government by implementing both Cloud based ServiceNow platform as a service (PaaS) software and application plugin software, Nuvolo, for Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) functionality. The IWMS solution will meet the current and future needs of the Public Sector/federal agencies by providing critical administrative digitized workflow activities for Facilities Asset Management, Space Management, Capital Project Management, and other related workplace management business processes. Requirements
- 10+ years experience in IT, data analysis, or system implementation
- 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow implementations or use
- Strong proficiency in Excel, macros, Power query, Power Pivot, VBA, and data manipulation
- Experience operating within Agile project environments
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Nuvolo or similar systems preferred
- Experience supporting data migration, data validation
- Experience performing legacy system data migration into the Nuvolo IWMS Space Management application on the ServiceNow Platform.
Responsibilities
- Perform Data analysis, data validation, and data migration and data integration analysis efforts with a focus on analyzing, verifying, and validating the requirements for moving data received from current Legacy NIH Systems data owner and performing Data Validation before data is loaded to the Service Now-Nuvolo application instance.
- Supporting the data analysis of data interface requirements for ongoing integration.
- Data Analyst will support requirements elicitation, data mapping workshops, Agile Development Increments/Sprints and Demos, User Acceptance Testing, Training, and Production Deployments.
- Create / Update Data models and datasets based upon the ServiceNow-Nuvolo application design requirements.
- Perform data management using manual and automated methods using Microsoft Excel for pre-import data tasks (data migrations, minor cleansing, and transformation) prior to loading into target ServiceNow-Nuvolo system.
- Data Analyst provides data validation and minor corrections, and generates queries, reports, risk analysis, and other random tasks to support the project team.
- Must create Agile user stories describing requirements for data migration from legacy system.
- Validate functionality across Nuvolo application solutions during QA and UAT cycles
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies and bugs noted, and support resolution
- Assist in verifying data, business, and system requirements
- Generate basic queries and reports to support validation and tracking
- Assist in identifying data quality issues and risks
- Provide input to improve data processes and workflows
- Support Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
- Assist in creating and refining data-related user stories
- Contribute to meeting project timelines and deliverables
