About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Consultant to lead end-to-end UI development initiatives. This role involves designing and building user interfaces, implementing and customizing applications across various ServiceNow modules, and integrating third-party systems. The consultant will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and ensure adherence to best practices and platform governance. This is a W2-only position requiring local candidates who can work onsite in Santa Clara, CA or San Diego, CA.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall experience.
  • 10+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Builder, Now Experience Framework, and Service Portal.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, and Client/Server scripting.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, APIs, ACLs, and data model.
  • Experience in building reusable UI components and custom widgets.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow UI development initiatives across multiple modules.
  • Develop UI architecture, component design, and reusable UI frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with architects to define best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
  • Design and build user interfaces using UI Builder.
  • Build complex forms, workflows, and dashboards with modern UI patterns.
  • Enhance existing UI components to improve usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Implement and customize applications across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, FSM, or other modules as needed.
  • Build and configure Service Portal pages, widgets, and catalogs.
  • Integrate third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and develop UI-driven integration experiences.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and platform defects.
