About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a ServiceNow CMDB Developer for an onsite position in Dearborn, MI. This role involves supporting the CMDB team with projects focused on setting up integrations between systems using Service Graph connectors, API calls, and database connectors. The developer will also create automations to reduce manual, repetitive tasks. The position is part of a fast-paced team dedicated to expanding CMDB completeness and ensuring high-quality data for customers. Responsibilities include engaging in the design process through final deployment, utilizing industry-standard practices to minimize technical debt on the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in IT
4+ years of experience in development
2+ years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB
Expertise with hierarchy of CMDB tables in ServiceNow
Understanding of CSDM and Service Mapping
Knowledge of CMDB, ITOM and ITAM best practices
Familiarity with ServiceNow update sets
Familiarity with Flow Designer
Ability to research new tools and technologies (primarily Service Graph Connectors) to determine best implementation and deployment practices
Can read, understand and update existing JavaScript, Python and PowerShell scripts.
Expertise in JavaScript
Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Packaging tools (Ansible, Habitat preferred), Deployment pipelines (Terraform preferred), GitHub, Cloud Technologies (GCP Preferred).
JavaScript, API, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the CMDB team for projects to set up integrations between systems using Service Graph connectors, API calls, and database connectors.

Engage from the design process through the final deployment of the solution.
Utilize industry standard practices to reduce technical debt in our ServiceNow platform.
Setup and configuration of APIs to pull data from other systems into ServiceNow.
Setting up database connections (JDBC) and ETL jobs to pull data from other systems into ServiceNow.
