About The Position

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst. This role focuses on gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications, and supporting the delivery of ServiceNow solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong ServiceNow experience, solid business analysis skills, and the ability to effectively bridge business needs with technical teams while ensuring alignment with SDLC and ITIL best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and ITIL practices
  • Experience writing user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira or ServiceNow Agile Development
  • Experience in higher education environments
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Create user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to support ServiceNow enhancements and implementations
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and backlog refinement
  • Ensure solutions align with SDLC and ITIL frameworks
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Support continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and platform capabilities
