About The Position

The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for designing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets the needs of EU Public Organisations. This role involves setting standards for development, quality, and testing, designing platform architecture, and ensuring interoperability with other systems. The architect will translate business needs into technical solutions, create technical documentation, and optimize the system for performance, security, and quality. Additionally, the role includes business analysis for the ServiceNow platform, assessing customer expectations, gathering requirements, and presenting technical solutions. The architect will also support project management by supervising the implementation of service management capabilities and development projects, and contribute to platform improvements by providing recommendations and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum required scoring for interview (%): 70%.
  • Minimum level of education: Level 4.
  • Minimum English language skills (CEFR): C1.
  • Minimum IT relevant professional experience (years): 8 years.
  • Minimum experience at similar position (years): 3 years.
  • Required certificates: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent practical hands-on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions (experience with on-prem will be advantageous).
  • Excellent practical knowledge of ServiceNow products portfolio.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of Service Management.
  • Excellent practical hands-on experience using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation including technical design documents.
  • Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.).
  • Well understanding of complex information systems and their interoperability.
  • Knowledge of IT security standards.
  • Very strong sense of responsibility.

  • Supervising ServiceNow development and improvement projects in close cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers.
  • Providing recommendations to business requirements and technical designs.
  • Supporting ServiceNow Architect and ServiceNow Developers in designing of solution architecture and development.
  • Supporting other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, security management, etc.
  • Maintaining up to date solution documentation including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, knowledge base articles etc.
  • Other specific duties as assigned by team leader.
