About The Position

The ICT Data and Information Management Architect will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise-wide data architectures, including databases, analytics platforms, Business Intelligence services, and Data Governance frameworks. This role involves eliciting requirements, translating them into architectural solutions, analyzing existing systems, and selecting appropriate technologies. The architect will also focus on performance, security, and optimization of systems, contribute to the Enterprise Architecture repository, and lead development teams. A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with standards and frameworks like TOGAF and Azure Well-Architected, and understanding the implications of the AI Act.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of IT relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Level 7 minimum education.
  • CEFR B2 minimum English language skills.
  • At least 2 certifications among: Iasa Architect CITA-A or equivalent, CDP Data Engineer or equivalent, CDP Data Analyst or equivalent, Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate or equivalent.
  • Performed role of key architect in development of at least 2 enterprise-wide data catalogue, data architecture and advanced analytic platform deployment.
  • Expert in Big Data and Modern Datawarehouse systems architecting.
  • Expert in designing enterprise level data architectures.
  • Expert in planning capacity and security of the databases, analytics platform and Big data.
  • Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases, Big data analytics platform, BI and visualisation platform, modern data warehousing, database access and management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge about: Big Data processes and solutions, storing, process and analyse data, Data Governance, Data Catalogue, Common Data Model, database monitoring and troubleshooting, Identity Management and Active Directory, cloud integration patterns, databases integration and migration, data engineering, SaS VA, Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Sound knowledge of OpenSource Big Data services such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Storm, Kafka and similar.
  • Good understanding modern databases engines such as NoSQL, SQL, Document based databases and similar.
  • Sound knowledge of designing systems and applications in UML.
  • Familiar with DevSecOps approach.
  • Proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or others.
  • Familiar with market wide designing architecture standards or frameworks such as, TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar.
  • Familiar with ICT process design and implementation according to ITILv4.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good understanding of AI Act and its implications.
  • Experience with modelling in ArchiMate.

  • Contributing to system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities.
  • Selects and evaluates technologies.
  • Leading development teams and supporting development processes.
  • Collecting, analysing, and interpreting system metrics.
  • Optimising systems from performance, security, scalability, and quality perspectives.
  • Prepares system documentation and provides presentations.
